This number was subsequently updated to four, suggesting that a Halo Infinite DLC or season pass announcement could be imminent.

According to the Italian platform, Halo Infinite "got three new 'dlcs' over the last few hours". In addition to spotting the Early Access listing, Aggiornamenti Lumia also revealed a sliver of information regarding Halo Infinite DLC. Image courtesy of Aggiornamenti Lumia on Twitter.

Looks like some people will be playing Halo Infinite before it launches. It's possible this Halo Infinite Early Access bundle will take a similar form. Since that component will be free-to-play, Microsoft could be bundling some extras in to entice players to spend on the mode in a similar strategy to what the company is doing with Forza Horizon 5. If you're a Game Pass subscriber, you can pick up the Premium Add-Ons Bundle for Forza Horizon 5, which includes expansions, extra cars, and access to the game a few days prior to launch. Doing it with a keyboard and mouse combo feels like you're trying to forge passports with your trusty old Etch-a-Sketch(R) - not really da bestest of smart ideas. This Early Access bundle could be a chance for players to test out the Halo Infinite multiplayer mode. I think it's repeatedly been discussed properly in, say, the Steam forums.ĭark Souls with a proper game pad controller can grow on you, as every button serves a specific action. I was refusing to play along for years, but Amalur or Darksiders 2 are major furball suckage without a game pad. There seem to be ways of making the original PS3 game pads work with a Windows PC, but I am not quite up to date there. I might re-evaluate them once I grow a third hand in a convenient spot. I find the Xbox/Microsoft controllers to be severely lacking and I really, really hate them. I personally use a wireless Logitech Rumblepad II, as it's more like the PS3 layout I love and crave and want. I'm a fervent raving keyboard & mouse cultist of the highest order, but a number of new, modern games really suck horribly right out of the box when you don't use a game pad controller of sorts. If you've never played Dark Souls and want to join in on the great fun, chances are keyboard & mouse will make for a really, really bad experience.
